Each VIVIDAION piece is handcrafted by skilled artists. To maintain its appearance and longevity, please follow the care guidelines below.
Metal Products (Silver, Copper, Alloy)
Care Guidelines:
- Keep away from water, perfume, sweat, skincare products, and cleaning agents to avoid oxidation and corrosion.
- After wearing, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth—especially in humid or warm conditions.
- For copper: apply a small amount of olive oil to reduce oxidation.
- For silver: use a silver polishing cloth.
- Store in a sealed bag or container when not in use to slow oxidation.
- For care of specific materials, please refer to product notes.
Important Notes:
- Copper will naturally oxidize and change color when exposed to air—this is normal. Light discoloration can be removed with toothpaste or baking soda.
- Store silver items in a soft cloth and keep away from air and moisture.
- To maintain the surface finish of alloy-plated jewelry, avoid friction and impact with hard objects.
Embroidered / Textile Products
Care Guidelines:
- Keep away from water and high humidity—textile materials may absorb moisture and deform or mold.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight to prevent fading and fabric brittleness.
- Handle gently. Do not pull embroidery or loose threads.
- Clean with a soft brush or cool-air blow dryer only. Do not wash.
- Store with desiccants in a box to maintain shape and prevent compression.
Important Notes:
- If embroidery contains beads or metallic threads, avoid collisions or friction to prevent damage.
Natural Stone Products (e.g., Labradorite, Agate, Crystal, Jade)
Care Guidelines:
- Avoid exposure to high heat or sudden temperature changes. Thermal stress may cause cracks.
- Wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners—some stones are sensitive to acids or bases.
- Do not drop or strike. Though hard, natural stones are brittle.
- Wrap and store separately from metal or other materials to prevent surface damage.
Important Notes:
- Avoid water and oils to preserve surface color and texture.
- Jade pieces benefit from regular wear but should not be exposed to heat or impact.
- Do not clean with ultrasonic devices.
Ceramic Products
Care Guidelines:
- Avoid dropping or hard impact—ceramics are breakable despite their hardness.
- Use a damp cloth or soft brush to gently remove dust. Neutral cleaners may be used.
- Store separately with protective wrapping to avoid scratching or pressure.
- Prevent sudden temperature changes (e.g., do not cool rapidly after exposure to hot water).
Important Notes:
- Both ceramic and porcelain items should be protected from heavy impacts.
- Avoid contact between glazed surfaces and hard objects.
- Crackling (crazing) in glaze may develop over time and is natural. However, do avoid extreme temperature shifts to prevent damage.
General Guidelines (for mixed-material pieces)
- Jewelry should be worn as the final step in getting ready (after makeup/skincare) and removed first when undressing.
- Do not wear during intense activity or while sweating, as this may damage multiple materials.
- Store each piece separately (e.g., in a fabric pouch or box) to avoid scratches and material interaction.
Artwork and Painting Care
Storage Guidelines:
- Keep out of direct sunlight and high heat. Ideal temperature: 18–25°C.
- Maintain humidity between 50%–60% to prevent mold.
- Avoid touching the surface with bare hands to prevent stains.
- Use natural moth repellents (e.g., camphor wood), but avoid direct contact with the artwork.
- Store in a dry cabinet with desiccants when not displayed.
- Avoid sealing artwork in plastic to prevent trapped moisture.
- Do not store with photographs or other artworks to avoid cross-contamination.
- Reframing should only be done by a professional experienced in traditional artwork mounting.
Storage Tip:
- Store your piece in a dry place, wrapped in soft fabric. Handle with care to preserve its beauty for years to come.
