The wing is an image of the unknown. It belongs to no single creature and points to no single, fixed form.
Humanity has never stopped imagining the unknown.
Wonders of the Unknown 以“翼”为核心视觉语言,将翼化为自由、探索、想象与蜕变的象征。
An Ancient Symbol of Exploration
Humanity has imagined wings since ancient times.
They can symbolize flight or freedom, journeys or transcendence. They connect the ground beneath us with the distant sky, and reality with imagination.
Different cultures have given wings different stories, yet one shared desire runs through them all:
To go farther.
That desire reaches beyond distant places in the geographic sense.
It is also a hunger for unfamiliar knowledge, a curiosity about the mysteries of life, and the imagination of another possible life.
Therefore,
Wonders of the Unknown does not attempt to define the unknown.
We would rather leave it open.
Each piece becomes an open doorway, inviting the viewer to form an imagination of their own somewhere between the familiar and the strange.
The Wing: Beyond Familiar Boundaries
Wings exist in nature and in the human imagination.
They may take the form of outstretched wings, or of something reaching upward, outward, and into the distance. They free life from its existing boundaries and awaken our imagination of faraway places.
For VIVIDAION, the wing is more than an organ of flight. It is a spiritual metaphor:
- Beyond boundaries, toward distant horizons;
- Free of restraint, imagining what could be;
- From the known into the unknown.
We therefore look to nature for life forms that evoke wings, whether they inhabit the sky, ocean, forest, or a world small and hidden from view.
Whenever a form carries the power to open, extend, float, or transform, it can become another expression of the wing.
From Nature to Imagination
Nature never repeats itself.
Ocean life moves through currents in countless ways. Insects transform, taking entirely different forms at different stages of life. Plants, birds, and innumerable small creatures each grow, change, and continue in their own way.
VIVIDAION looks to these living forms for a visual language that moves beyond literal categories.
What matters to us is not "what it is," but this:
What does it make us imagine?
An outstretched form can evoke distant places;
A floating gesture can evoke freedom;
A change from an old form into a new one can evoke life itself.
Nature then becomes more than something we observe. It becomes a mirror for the human imagination.

Wings of Metamorphosis
Wings reveal life's capacity to become something new.
Wings of Metamorphosis explore life's cycles and transformations: the passage from one form into another, and the continual act of becoming someone new through change.
Here, wings turn our attention inward, toward the ways life changes, grows, and begins again.

VIVIDAION’s Interpretation
VIVIDAION does not copy nature or simply turn natural forms into decoration.
We are more interested in the emotional resonance behind those forms.
We draw form from living things and meaning from culture, then use contemporary design to reconnect people with nature and with the unknown.
A piece may begin with a creature from the ocean or an insect in transformation, but its story does not need to remain tied to one particular animal.
It can become:
- A longing for distant places,
- An imagination of freedom,
- A curiosity about life,
- And a continuing exploration of the unknown.
This is also The heart of Wonders of the Unknown.
Beyond What We Know
We believe true wonder often begins where complete explanation ends.
When we encounter an unfamiliar form, an unknown life, or a distant place we have yet to reach, imagination arises instinctively.
And imagination is where exploration begins.
Wonders of the Unknown
It therefore offers no single, definite answer.
It invites you to set answers aside for a moment.
To see, to imagine, to explore - What else is out there?
Our Philosophy
We explore what we don’t know.
From living nature to imagined worlds, VIVIDAION uses the wing as an open visual language to explore humanity's enduring curiosity about freedom, distant places, life, and the unknown.
We believe:
The unknown is not a boundary.
The unknown is a beginning.
