Artist Introduction | Huang Meng

Huang Meng is an independent designer, ceramic artist and lecturer at the School of Art and Design at Yunnan Normal University. His practice brings ceramics and traditional craftsmanship into contemporary design.

In “WaMao · Phantoms of the Mythic Beasts,” his first signed collaboration with VividAion, he reimagines Yunnan’s traditional Tile Cat guardian as a contemporary ceramic talisman. His work explores the warmth of handmade craft and the expressive possibilities of the material.
